| Thanks for visiting our site. We have been
in the wood working business for a few short years now. Angela got started when she was
11 years old. She participated in her first carving show back in 2005. That was
when Marianne was introduced to the art. Wood carving takes a lot of patience and it's not as
easy as it looks. Angela can turn out a nice carving within a couple of weeks; however, Marianne
is still in the learning stages for carving. That's why she turned to wood burning. It's easier
and faster, according to her.
We attend the annual Metro Woodcarvers Show in southeastern Michigan every March. Please see
our resources section for a link to the Metro Woodcarvers website, which lists dates and directions
for the show. If you are in the area, please stop by and visit us. You will be amazed at some of
the exhibits you will see. Oh, and when you're there, don't forget to vote for People's Choice!

Angela's favorite item to carve are tigers; however
she will do other types of wildlife, if you ask her. She has also done some sealife and other items such
as lighthouses.
Marianne prefers to wood burn wolves, dogs, monsters, horror creatures, and
fantasy/mystical creatures. She has also burned other items such as celebrities and sea creatures.
